Many domestic and foreign scholars and experts have discussed topics such as the protection and utilization of the Yuanmingyuan site, historical and cultural research, aiming to promote the construction of the "Beijing Haidian Three Mountains and Five Gardens National Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Demonstration Zone" and promote the high-quality development of the protection and utilization of the Yuanmingyuan site.

This seminar is co-sponsored by the Yuanmingyuan Research University Alliance and the Yuanmingyuan Research Center of the International Chinese Culture Research Institute of Beijing Foreign Studies University. The theme of this seminar is "promoting the high-quality development of the protection and utilization of the Yuanmingyuan site", and more than 50 academic papers in related research fields have been received. University professors from the United States, Canada, Italy, France, South Korea, India and other countries, as well as experts and scholars from the Palace Museum, the National Library, the Summer Palace, Beihai Park, Zhongshan Park, Haidian Library and Yuanmingyuan Research University Alliance attended the meeting.
